Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the Late Show with Johnathan Hernández!!
Races
We have a lot to cover, including Perm Tour, one of the most thrilling tours of the season, since it does don’t have the super teams from Top Division contending. Friday saw no important race; however, Bastogne-Hasselt was taken by Italian cobbler Andrea Camata, with Petter Nyland and Priyavray van Djik in second and third place. Saturday saw Veracruz-Puebla being taken by Brazilian Manuel Caldeira, he was followed by Nikolay Shikalov, from Skrubb Cycleklub and by Mohamed Ashour Buzbeda, from Lots o Huggin Bear in third place. Perm Tour started also this day, with stages one and two on the radar. Stage One was taken by Otto Skoglund from CCFC. Roy Ramsussen and Baltazar Woriega took places two and three. Vlad Yenotid from Borussia Milano won King Stage two, followed by Roy Ramsussen (again lol) and by Emanuel Uffenbrink. Next day we saw the ITT being taken by Jean-Michel Kermarec from nonnies. Doyle Doe (cool name) took second and Frank Jacobsen Third. The last stage was a parade and it was taken by Portuguese rider Floriano Moutinho from Anno Domini. Otto Skoglund took two and Maximos Zisimatos took the third place. GC was taken by Roy Rasmussen from SupperSoppene, Hüsnü Dilmen, from Manisaspor was only 1'16" behind and Hernan Brizeno took the podium of the tour with 2'56" of difference with the winner. Note: Hüsnü Dilmen almost gets an historical triplet, but fell short of it.
Talk Segment
Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome, from Team WonderDee, the one, the only Christian!!
JHDZ: To start it off, how are you?
CHRISTIAN: I am fine, thank you :)
JHDZ: What is your favorite part of the game?
CHRISTIAN: That’s a good question, the community and the game play I guess.
JHDZ: How did you join OCM?
CHRISTIAN: I was playing some online football manager games, even running a small one myself. Since I both like cycling and football, I was googling for a cycling manager one, and found OCM.
JHDZ: Why did you stay and did not quit?
CHRISTIAN: I did enjoy the game play, and it was lot of fun.
JHDZ: You are one of the oldest users of the game, since you´ve been around since 2008, how does it feel? What has changed here in OCM since you joined?
CHRISTIAN: I feel old, and it’s been an honor to see how Nick have develop the game over the years. A lot have change, but the base of the game is the same.
JHDZ: Do you like IRL cycling? If so, who is your favorite rider?
CHRISTIAN: Yes, I do. Bit boring might, but currently Peter Sagan. But when I first started to follow cycling it was Igor González de Galdeano.
JHDZ: Favorite OCM rider
CHRISTIAN: Current: Aleksander Hetland - Have to pick my captain, from you youth academy. He managed a 3rd in the OCM rank last season, the best position any of my riders have done.
All time: This is a hard pick, so many good riders both from my own team and other teams. But I think it have to be one of the legends of OCM, Äme Anderberg. But I would also like to mention; Chris Dell, Sandro Montelbano, Elias Márquez, Farruco Alonso, Frederick Longosiwa and Kenny Haakon.
JHDZ: Favorite OCM manager
CHRISTIAN: Current: stoosh (Il Grillo) - What he is doing with his YA team is so impressive.
All time: FFL - The welsh legend. Had one of the best teams in OCM in the early days.
JHDZ: Do you like any other sport?
CHRISTIAN: Football
JHDZ: Any plans for the future of your team?
CHRISTIAN: Might go back to do the youth academy challenge again. The challenge I started in the forum, but not the first manager to play this way.
JHDZ: Ladies and gentlemen that was Christian! Please a big applause for him! If you have any suggestions or want to be a guest please leave a comment or PM, I answer to all messages.
